It was a long journey to Australia from Ireland, a long drive to see father, a long journey nearly home, and a late night call followed by a long journey back to see him. During the long wait of 26 days for the funeral, this song was written in response using exquisitely long descending chords on guitar. Some things take a long time. This is dedicated to Bob Date who lived a long life.
